Core Style Guide
My Scene is one of Mattel's popular girls' fashion brands. We were commissioned by Mattel to create the first My Scene style guide, with the girls in their new form. Our brief was "Bling Bling", and we took it from there! My Scene has a slightly higher age demographic than Barbie, so the colours, look and feel of the theme, designs and product inspiration were purposefully chosen and created to reflect this, and set it apart from Barbie. Apart from the first 5 girl illustrations which were supplied by Mattel, all other character art and design was created by Ulkutay.
