Concept Creation
Teddy Club is our own concept which launched in 1985, initially as a designer label range of apparel for Marks & Spencer's in UK, and remained exclusively with them until 1990, after which it was sold in over 15 countries, and it achieved around 35 million Dollars at retail, across 50 licensees. Following this success, Teddy Club has diversified into many avenues of commercial activity, branching out from a full range of textile and fashion items, into an extremely broad range of products and accessories, including books and comics, toys, stationary and footwear.
Teddy Club revolves around a world of fun, humour, glamour, whilst still retaining its 'cute' value! The background story is a loosely adapted spoof of Hollywood films, and American soaps, therefore can be easily adapted to the popular themes of today, and so easily transfers to all kinds of licensed product!
